Six
Nations trades Boyle to Brooklin

15, 2007- Major Series Lacrosse commissioner
Jim Brady has announced a trade between
the Six Nations Chiefs and Brooklin Redmen
where Brooklin receives Brock Boyle and
Six Nations receives Scott Stewart, Ashton
McLean, and Brooklin's fifth pick overall
in 2007.
Last
season with Six Nations, Boyle was sixth
on the team in scoring with 15 goals and
10 assists for 25 points. He is currently
a member of the Minnesota Swarm of the National
Lacrosse League. In 32 career NLL games,
the 24 year old Toronto, Ontario native
has recorded 36 points (22-14=36). He was
originally selected in the second round
(24th overall) of the 2002 NLL Entry Draft
by Albany.
McLean,
a 24 year old Toronto, Ontario native appeared
in 11 games last season for Brooklin registering
three goals and four assists for seven points.
Stewart is currently a member of the Minnesota
Swarm of the NLL. The 27 year old Hamilton,
Ontario native has recorded 179 points (91-88=179)
in 67 career NLL contests during five seasons
with Portland, Anaheim and New Jersey. He
was originally selected by New Jersey in
the first round (3rd overall) of the 2001
NLL Entry Draft.
