Dostie Named Major Series Lacrosse Most Valuable Player

Aug 22, 2006 - Major Series Lacrosse commissioner Jim Brady is pleased to announce Kevin Dostie (Ottawa, Ont.) of the St. Regis Indians as the 2006 recipient of the Jim Murphy Trophy which is awarded to the MSL Most Valuable Player.

In 2006, Dostie led the Indians and ranked 6th in MSL scoring with 35 goals and 30 assists for 65 points in 18 games. His 35 goals ranked 3rd in the league. During the regular season he recorded seven 5-point performances and added a season high six points versus Brooklin (2006-06-14).
