Named Major Series Lacrosse Rookie of the
Year

22, 2006 - Major Series Lacrosse commissioner
Jim Brady is pleased to announce Andrew
Lazore of the St. Regis Indians as the 2006
recipient of the Gene Dopp Memorial Trophy
which is awarded to the MSL Rookie of the
Year.
In
his rookie campaign, Lazore registered 22
goals (leading all rookies) and 18 assists
for 40 points in 16 games. He recorded seven
multi goal games with a season high four
points twice versus Kitchener-Waterloo (2006-06-03)
and Brooklin (2006-07-18).
The
other Major Series Lacrosse major award
winners will be announced throughout the
week.
