Evans Receives Bucko MacDonald Trophy for MSL Scoring Champion

Aug 25, 2006 - Major Series Lacrosse commissioner Jim Brady is pleased to announce Scott Evans (Peterborough, Ont.) of the Peterborough Lakers as the 2006 recipient of the Bucko MacDonald Trophy which is awarded to the MSL Scoring Champion. This is his second straight honour becoming just the second Lakers player to win it back-to-back years. John Davis captured the title in both 1966 and 1967 with Peterborough.

Evans ended the regular season with 42 goals and 51 assists for 93 points. His 42 goals was also tops in the league. In five seasons in the MSL Evans has recorded 165 goals and 181 assists for 346 points in 74 regular season games.
