Lakers defeat Excelsiors 16-9, take 3-1 series lead

Aug 25, 2006 - The Peterborough Lakers defeated the Brampton Excelsiors by the score of 16-9 in Game Four of the best of seven Major Series Lacrosse Championship. Peterborough now leads the series 3-1 with Game Five back in Brampton on August 27th at 7:00pm.

Tracey Kelusky led the Lakers offense with three goals and three assists. John Grant (3G, 2A) and Mat Giles (1G, 4A) both contributed with five points each while Scott Evans (2G, 2A), Dan Carey (2G, 2A) and Jason Clark (1G, 3A) all chipped with four points each in the victory.

Colin Doyle led Brampton with a goal and five assists while Aaron Wilson (3G), John Harasym (1G, 2A), and Josh Sanderson (1G, 2A) all added three points each in the loss.
