Brooklin wins series in five over St. Regis, Advances to MSL semi-finals

August 3 , 2006 - The Brooklin Redmen defeated St. Regis 11-6 in Game Five at home Thursday night to win the series 3-2 and advance to the MSL semi-finals versus the first place Brampton Excelsiors.

Mike McClellan led the Redmen offense with a season high six points recording two goals and four assists. Gavin Prout (1G, 4A), Shawn Williams (2G, 3A) both contributed with five points. Mike Hominuck added four assists while Mike Accursi and Steve Toll both chipped in with two goals and one helper in the victory.
