Lakeshores Defeat Kodiaks 14-8, Lead Series 2-1

July 30, 2006 - The Barrie Lakeshores scored seven times in the second period on route to a 14-8 home victory over the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks in Game Three of the best of five MSL quarter-final series at the Barrie Molson Center Sunday night. Barrie now leads the series 2-1.

Chad Thompson led the Lakeshores offense with a season high five goals. Matt Holman added two goals and four assists while Luke Wiles chipped in with a goal and five helpers.

The Kodiaks Mike Longboat recorded two goals and four assists while Mark Tinning added two goals and two assists in the loss.
