Brampton takes 3-1 series lead with 7-6 victory over Brooklin

Aug 14, 2006 - The Brampton Excelsiors took a 3-1 Major Series Lacrosse semi-finals series lead as they defeated the Brooklin Redmen by the score of 7-6 on the road Monday night.

Josh Sanderson (1G, 3A) and Colin Doyle (4A) both registered four points each to lead the Excelsiors while Dan Teat contributed with two goals including the eventual game winner.

For Brooklin, Gavin Prout recorded three goals and one assist while Shawn Williams added five assiasts in the loss.

In goal, Brampton's Brandon Miller recorded his 10th victory of the season as he remained undefeated in 2006 improving his overall record to 10-0-2.
