Lakeshores tie series with 9-8 victory over Peterborough

August 13 , 2006 - The Barrie Lakeshores improved to 4-0 at home in the 2006 MSL playoffs as they defeated the Peterborough Lakers by the score of 9-8 Sunday night at the Barrie Molson Centre. The series is now tied 2-2 with Game Five back in Peterborough August 16th at 8:30pm.

In another penalty filled affair there was 10 fighting majors and 124 minutes in penalties handed out.

Barrie trailed 6-1 after 20 minutes and 7-6 after two periods before adding three in the third. Chad Culp led the Lakeshores offense registering four goals and one assist. Mark Steenhuis added three goals and two assists including the game winner with 9:21 remaining in the third period.
