Brampton Defeats Redmen 15-7, leads series 2-1

Aug 11, 2006 - The Brampton Excelsiors took a 2-1 Major Series Lacrosse semi-finals series lead at the Powerade Centre Friday night as they defeated the Brooklin Redmen by the score of 15-7.

Leading the Excelsiors was Colin Doyle who registered three goals and two assists. Josh Sanderson and Jeff Shatler both contributed with six points adding a goal and five assists each. Dan Teat recorded his 1000th career point as he added one goal and one assist. John Harasym, Brodie Merrill and Aaron Wilson all chipped in with two goals and one helper in the victory.

In goal, Brampton's Brandon Miller remained undefeated in 2006 improving his overall season record to 9-0-2.
