Opens MSL Semi-Finals with 16-12 victory
over Brooklin

7, 2006 - The MSL regular season champion
Brampton Excelsiors opened the MSL semi-finals
with a 16-12 victory over the Brooklin Redmen
in Game One of the best four-out-of seven
series at the Powerade Centre Monday night.
Dan
Teat and Josh Sanderson led the Excelsiors
offense with Teat registering a game high
nine points with four goals and five assists
and Sanderson recorded three goals and five
assists. With nine points Teat now has 997
career points just three shy of 1000 and
with eight points Sanderson reaches the
900 point milestone of his career.
Aaron
Wilson added the natural hat trick while
team Canada duo Colin Doyle (1G, 3A) and
Brodie Merrill (4A) chipped in with four
points each.
For
Brooklin, Gavin Prout added three goals
and six assists while Shawn Williams tallied
six assists in the loss.
Game
Two is scheduled for Aug 9th at 8:00 pm
in Brooklin.
