St. Regis ties series 2-2 with 11-8 victory over Brooklin

Aug 1 , 2006 - The St. Regis Indians tied the best of five MSL quarter final series 2-2 Tuesday night at home as they defeated the Brooklin Redmen by the score of 11-8. Game five is scheduled for August 3rd at 8 pm in Brooklin.

Leading the St. Regis offense was Andrew Lazore, Nick Trudeau and Scott Thompson who all added two goals each.

For Brooklin, Shawn Williams recorded six points adding three goals and three assists moving him into 28th all-time in career regular season, playoffs and Mann Cup points combined with 1153 surpassing Brampton head coach Troy Cordingley (1151) (1984-2000).

Gavin Prout, Mike Accursi and Mike McLellan all added a goal and two assists in the loss.
